not your mom's socks.

Yom Hoolledet same'akh Nilly! Hope I'm not too late! ps - nice timing, the week before Rosh Hashanah - two weeks of good food!

My assistant is expecting a baby in April and starting already to worry about delivering near Passover. First grandchild, both sides, both Orthodox families... eiyiyi.

Happy birthday flea!

I'm toying with lj - if you see me out there, I'm (predictably) Sox... Or maybe not? um... (flail)

go Matilda & Dylan!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I'm gonna say reptile. (Since he's an amphibian.)

One of these things is not like the other...

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cons suffer from the same Buttless Chaps Guy problem gay pride parades do. You never remember the 25,000 reasonable people who have pants on. You remember the guy waking around exposing his hairy white asscheeks in the name of liberation.

Yeah, its never a guy with an ass so amazing that it deserves a little liberation.

When I had two teeth pulled, I made sure I got it done on a Friday, so that I would have all weekend to recover.

Nice way to ruin a weekend, man.

Otoh, Percocet... PARTAY AT SCOLA'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

One of these things is not like the other...

I knew that! At one point, anyway.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Daisy Jane, be careful around those coffee tables!! I once got up from my mom's couch and got dizzy and ended up falling onto her coffee table, shattering the glass top. Luckily, I wasn't cut, other than a few scrapes on my legs, but it really freaked me out.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Thanks guy-

I have tomorrow off of work, but the theatre season is just starting up, and I am supposed to meet with the students all afternoon. Of course, since I take the bus, I probably could go all doped up!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

There will be no dissing of the Dragon*Con!

I wasn't dissing it; I seriously didn't know that scantily clad women attended it. I mean, I knew there were tons of costumed people, but I was picturing, say, Superman and Darth Vader and Klingons and Mal Reynolds. Not a girl in bra and panties.

Perhaps my problem is that I don't know what fandom that is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Damn, DJ! I thought I was the only one falling stupidly! Good on Mr J for the attempted catch. I should get me one of those.

Alright. Today's long black skirt is this one, ungathered. Worn with a wide leather belt from Ann Taylor Loft (the skirt is too big, so I can only wear it with this belt) and a pink silk knit T-shirt.

Thanks for your attention.

Hmm. Guess I have to go in migrained, since this puppy isn't shifting.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Yom Hoolledet same'akh, Nilly!
Happy Birthday, flea!

I made cookies last night. Dark chocolate with cappucino chips. I'm very popular here at work today.

Got any left? I still have a spare ticket to The Producers for tonight.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Perhaps my problem is that I don't know what fandom that is.

It kind of evoked Clockwork Orange for me, but I thought that she would have done the eyelashes if so.
