I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

do the abc full show videos play ok for anyone on a mac. I was just trying one and it pauses like a terribly annoying thing.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

msbelle, I have a hard time with the abc shows on my pc. Haven't tried on a mac.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's been hit or miss for me, msbelle.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I have been watching QI all weekend, and happened to come across this semi-official petition to air it on BBC America, for those who are interested: [link] It's really a very lovely show!

Just as I was filling up the sink with hot soapy water to mop the freshly swept floors, there was a crash behind me and a small grey blur.

Dry catfood EVERYFUCKINGWHERE.

Sigh.

I'm going to be finding those pellets forever. Unless the mice do.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

sarameg, you could just stop feeding the cat for a couple days, which should incentivize the finding fairly well.

Well, at least I'd think about it.

Art Crawl!!!

You'd think about it but the cats would still be poking at you demanding more food.

I went through my fridge and got rid of stuff I should have dumped ages ago. Including scary things in plasticware that I could not identify. My fridge has pretty much nothing but space in it now.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

We have a rule in my house that you have to eat the floor chow before you get your bowl refilled.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

PHew, it's about 90+ degrees here, so not a good choice for a birthday party, but it went pretty well all things considered. The bouncy house was less populated than usual, but the Cars viewing in the den was a big hit. As were the mimosas.

How much do I love Noah's allnighter t-shirt? THIS much. He is such a darling little boy, and his sister is pretty as a doll. Buffistas babies are doing well today. Matilda is clearly extra adorable as well. The pointing trick is too much.

As for me, I'm tired. And yet? still drinking leftover champagne. Oh, plus any nearby LAistas who are in sore need of cake should come by this weekend. We have lots, and it's good.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just had a delicious cheeseburger that didn't look like enough, even though I knew it was a perfectly reasonable (if not even larger than necessary!) portion. And now I'm full! So that's good.

Although I wouldn't say no to some cake. Glad the party went well, Burrell.
