Has anyone flown with a lighter since the TSA lifted the ban? Is it just like old times, or does the TSA expect some kind of special handling of lighters like the bag of OMGliquids?

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I, too am addicted to the 'tips. And peroxide, actually.
Peroxide + ear canal = AWESOME.
Chris Farley would've been a good one. Rob Schnider?

I followed the advice of Jesse? Somebody here I think, and just put it in my pocket.
I never stopped.... that said, I have no idea where you are supposed to keep it. Only in Kansas city did I lose a lighter, and that's because I didn't put it away. I used to smuggle 'em through in a little metal-meshed zippy makeup bag where I also kept the illicit hand lotion, hand sanitizer and vaseline. Yes, I am my best argument against these stupidass rules.
I've flown a number of times in the last few months and half the time I forget to even take out my bag of OMG liquids and they never noticed.
Will Ferrell is a good one, thanks Vortex.
Oh, I totally hid mine in my pocket last time, except the TSA lifted the ban on common lighters earlier this month.
Hmm:
Q. Does your lighter need to be in a baggie since it contains liquid?
A. No. TSA's common-sense approach harmonizes with worldwide standards for lighters.
OK, the front page on CNN is the awning of my building.
This is getting less funny.

Awww... "harmonizes" - that's so warm and fuzzy.
TSA - Now With Common-Sense!!!

no prob. I just thought -- who was in the last ridiculously stupid movie that made a lot of money? :)
