'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Rayne! Haven't seen you in yoicks and a half!

I've added 11 more books to LibraryThing this morning, balanced my checkbook and gotten a book ready to send off for BookMooch. Now to try learning some MySQL....

Insomnia sucks! But at least it led me to read my Entertainment Weekly, which led me to read a blurb on a Buffy fandom book, which made me squee, which led me here (and to Amazon.com to pre-order).

I can't wait to read it! Grats on your success paperdol!

Hi everyone!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Holy ass! Rayne!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good lord, tommyrot. There's some drama for the middle of the night!

More hilariously, I had to explain EW to the 'rents.

My parents have a subscription to EW, which is also hilarious, because they aren't sure where it came from.

I'm also thinking about hair color, but I don't want to go lighter, I don't think. Maybe I'll ask my hairdresser about how much it would cost to do the whole subtle highlights/lowlights deal. It just seems ridiculous to spend real money on something that's not a big difference.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I'm considering getting my color professionally done (rather than risk D pulling off my shower cap and putting it in his mouth while I'm letting the dye set), but my salon doesn't open until 10 on Saturdays so I don't know if they'll do permanent exotic colors. Curses!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Wow, I'm loving the b.org "alums" coming back to hang or just say hi in the wake of Vampire People.

That's just so damn cool!

Ack! The concept of a ride to go somewhere at 5:30a practically makes me want to cry.

Reminds me of my father's penchant for getting us all up waaayyyy before dawn to start any sort of driving trip. Why, Papa, why??? Not that I called him Papa. I probably did whine like that, though.

And in hair color tales, I have bottle upstairs waiting. Don't think I'll get to until tonight, though.
