Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The link says most overpriced bikini, but really, it's diamonds. I don't know how "over" that makes the price.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm having a small panic attack thinking about buying something nice to wear for the reading. I can't go into clothing stores without getting mildly ill, and I can barely look at myself in a full length mirror.

What do i do to calm down?

I don't want to be panicked and lost in self-loathing before the reading, yet I have no way to feel confident in clothing. It's already starting and I'm losing my shit.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Do you have someone who can go shopping with you?

Now tagless for your comfort.

And who has a prescription for Xanex?

Skinny people don't get it, and that's all I've got.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful.

I have Xanax. But I'm driving, so that's not so good.

Get a shopping buddy/designated driver. I feel your pain--shopping for clothes is an emotionally draining experience for me, too, and never good for my self esteem.

I hope you find something that makes you feel fabulous.

I don't know when the reading is, so I don't know how much time you have. Can you break the shopping up into small chunks? Spend only an hour a time at it? And then have some ice cream afterward?
