Simon: I swear when it's appropriate. Kaylee: Simon, the whole point of swearing is that it ain't appropriate.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not need as such.

True. I mean, winging it has done me pretty well so far.

Cinderella pumpkins growing in Mickey Mouse shape just confuses me.

Does that mean I can go home and go to sleep?

The cube over keeps trying to start up Michael Vick conversations. The first person she tried it with didn't know who Vick was. This current person knows only a shade more.

And now it's So You Think You Can Dance.

I really want to go home.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yes, DJ. Flee.

I just bought temporary tattoo eyebrows. And beauty marks, but temporary tattoos of tiny hearts and stars to stick on my face seems like the normal part of what I just bought.

Huh. Pellegrino Dine Out: $25 lunch or $35 gourmet dinner of which $1 goes to charity.

I'm trying to work out if I've been terribly ruined by LA, but judging from the two menus I've peeked at so far, looks like great value for the money.

And now I'm hungry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Holy crap. My freezer is currently packed to the gills with Omaha Steak products. It's hilarious! And also motivated me to throw out some stuff that had been in there way too long.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

What are people doing this weekend?

There's an airshow at the KC downtown airport this weekend, I'm trying to decide if I'm going to go.

Compassionately intolerant

10 miles tomorrow, despite the torn up feet. I'm tough that way. Besides, the heat index is going to be somewhere between 105 and 110...so I'm betting my feet will be the least of my worries.

Sunday? Recovering, listening to Deathly Hallows on cd and lolling about.

I spent 4.5 hours at Georgetown Running getting fit for new shoes that will hopefully get me through the Marathon without the brutality of last week.

DC and NoVA-istas...I can't say enough about the fellows at Georgetown Running (34th and M). They rocked like rocking things, were super knowledgeable and had way more patience than I.
