weekend plans: tonight, driving up to New Hampshire. Tomorrow and Sunday, lounge around drinking beer, taking boat rides, swimming, dozing, and eating on an island in Lake Winnipisake.

Getting things done here, and then heading home to finish cleaning the apartment before getting at least a few hours sleep before Mom arrives at noonish to spend the week.
I hope she doesn't expect to have an adventurous weekend, because I'm going to be damn tired after today.
Oh, and weekend plans are driving to Maine tomorrow for an annual family get-together (at one of my sisters this year) on Sunday. I have Monday off (wheeeeee!), which is when I'll be coming back (hopefully on the early side).

"Mermaids and Pirates" birthday party for 18+ 4 year olds a 30-minute drive away
Sunday errands unfinished from Saturday
playdate at school playground for getting-to-know Casper's new school
3rd annual Peach festival at a friend's house (food and bluegrass jam)
Baptist seminary launching homemaking program

ETA: It's this line that makes my brain 'splodey " It will offer a bachelor of arts in humanities degree with a 23-hour concentration in homemaking. The program is only open to women."
