This is so random, but I'm watching an old 80s game show (Blockbusters -- love the Bill Cullen), and at that time, Iran was the country that sent the most foreign students to US universities. Must have been right around the revolution.

I play a mean Pianosaurus.
We watched a tape of MST3K from 1991 last night. Man has advertising changed. More to the point, Joel and the bots made a theremin reference.
I LOVE the giant legoman. I love that it just shows up.
Sadly I'm watching Dodgeball.
Sweet! I've got an ocarina, MIDI French horn, etch-a-sketch rhythm machine, pianosaurus and sumi on glockenspiel (freeform).
This band ploinks!
I'm really good at playing the ratchet - it is a great addition to any rhythm section
so good I had to say it twice
beth on the double ratchet!
In other exciting news, Emmett and I sang the Spider-Pig song all the way home from the East Bay.
Emmett declares the line, "No he can't / he's a pig" to be comedy genius.
Have you guys seen this? It's a crazy lion/buffalo throwdown, with some alligators in a cameo.
I was watching it and saw the lions settle down after fighting off the croc and I thought, "Hey, we're only half-way through the video, what else--WTFOMG!" as the camera pulls back and you see this whole *army* of water buffalo standing there saying, "You took our calf. Give it back."
Emmett declares the line, "No he can't / he's a pig" to be comedy genius.
I completely agree with Emmett. That line cracks me up every single time.
