The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, this one!!! It's like he can't decide if he's hiding or climbing -- so cute!

So very.

Count me among the people who just aren't doing that whole work thing today.

I did however volunteer to do something that is fun and good, but is also going to force me to come in AGAIN tomorrow morning, and now I'm wondering if I can get out of it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Can anyone give me an idea how much a taxi from O'Hare to downtown might cost? I'm doing my expense report, and I forgot to write that down.

Remember the incompetent student assistant? His incompetence has reached new levels. I just had to show him how to use the three hole punch because he couldn't figure it out. ugh.

I think it's time to set out a bowl of Prestone in your office and let natural selection deal with the problem.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just had to show him how to use the three hole punch because he couldn't figure it out. ugh.

I am reminded of my college friend who couldn't figure out the cheese grater. A box grater, nothing fancy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Google says $30-$40.

Jessica - that ergo looks pretty cool. Good job with the bargain.

And yeah, little dude is getting stronger at push crawling up one's chest, especially if we're lying down. Froggy legs.

Um. I'd estimate about $45.

I paid $40 for O'Hare to Lincoln Park back in 2004, which is about the same distance.

$40 it is, then. They don't care if I "round off". Thanks!

Someone buy Giuliani a dictionary....

"Freedom is not a concept in which people can do anything they want, be anything they can be. Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do."

OK... so I guess under a dictatorship you're even more free?
