You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No B, sadly. I was just on the phone with him when my IV slipped out and I started squirting blood all over everything, so I haven't even had a chance to get a daily fix.

Yup. Still here. And no discharge instructions, so here through tomorrow morning at least, unless I leave AMA.

My pain is down from the 9.5 to brought me in to about a 7.5. My normal goal is to get it below 5 before leaving, or 6 if I'm having a drug-induced panic attack.

Now I'm just grumpy, wearing yesterday's clothes now blood-spotted, and haven't been able to sleep despite the dopey drugs, and itching like a mo fo. Which is terribly unfair when you consider the amount of Benadryl I was on before the itching even started.

I think I officially have a dilaudid tolerance. Because of the itching they're alternating it with something...with something pink. Maybe that will help the efficacy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's a pink junta thing, right?

Fucking hell, ita. Where are you? I'm feeding Noah then bundling him up with some clothes for you. I'm not remotely a substitute for B, but you should at least have fresh clothes and a toothbrush.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

ita, when you're blood splattered I prefer it be from your sparring partner.

Matilda has successfully transmitted her cold to JZ and I.

I don't get colds that often anymore because Emmett gave me everything local between his first and third years. But I must've missed this one.

Just an annoying, snuffling, sneezy head cold. Feh.
