Does anyone have a good recipe for cornbread? I've tried a few in the past, but they always seem too dry.
My mom makes really good corncakes but there's not really a set recipe. It's just a cup of cornmeal, an egg, roughly half a cup of milk (enough so the texture is moist but not runny, and can be slowly poured) and sugar to taste. Instead of baking it, she pours the mix like flapjacks into a skillet with heated canola oil and flips each cake when the top side is riddled with bubbles and solidifying.
I'm sure it's horribly unhealthy, but it's also gooood.
I'm kind of talking out of my ass here, but I don't believe there is much of a history of veganism in the hindu religion. They're all about the cow juice.
Congrats, Dana!
I've been on that bridge lots of times.
Oh my gods. I was on that bridge all the time. I have friends who take that bridge every day, and all the fucking circuits are busy.
Fuck!
Also, wtf?
I've driven over that bridge a million times....
Juliana, texts are getting through. Takes less bandwidth. (Already heard that my Mpls friends are OK)
Yikes! I guess it stands to reason that rush hour would be the time it gives way, though.
Shit.

Boy, is that a flashback to Katrina.
Good God. You just don't think of that kind of thing happening when there's not a quake or a hurricane or something.

Or terrorism.
Boy, is that a flashback to Katrina.
And 9-11. But that's why I texted my friend.
