It was indeed a Come As You Aren't party, thrown with my roommates. It was awesome! I came butch. :) Joey (for those of you who remember Joey) had most people confused...he came as gay. But they looked at him and went "wait, you mean he's NOT gay?"
And Jesse came as a cowgirl.

I just finished reading Nora Ephron's book. She has an essay in it about renting an apartment with 5 bedrooms and the end of rent stabilization. And how she had her rent tripled becuase she was making more than $250,000 a year and the subsidies no longer applied to her.
I kept thinking, "hmm... somehow I'm not filled with sympathy for the rich lady, the one whose screenplays get nominated for academy awards, who has to pay more in rent."
