It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Lisah, when I met him he was a HUGE GIANT asshole, and skeevy to boot. Not that it proves that he's the same giant asshole you're thinking of, but it's a data point of some kind.

Add that data point to the letter! I forget that as weird and awkward as the letter sounds he is a professional.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The letter sounds very professional to me, and that's a big part of my skeeve. It doesn't sound like a) it's anyone's business and b) there are humans involved.

Art Crawl!!!

So, just got off the phone with the electric company and it really sounds like there's nothing I can do. If I can't pay the full amount of the budget plan - they take me off it and they can do a deferred payment which is the same amount - you know - that I can't afford.

Makes no sense.

Oh, and people on electric heat get billed at a different rate from people who just have heat for lights and things - my landlord probably should have informed the electric company so that they could schedule a time to come in and confirm that the heat is electric.

So, now I've done that.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Did the electric company read the meter this time, sumi (and have they been estimating in the past)?

Ugh, this happened to cousin K when she moved back to New Orleans. She had to pay goes to check email $1,100!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Woo hoo, Dana!

Ugh, sumi. Sucks.

But am I understanding that his now-ex is in her early 30s now and they've been together for 10 years and she was in a 10-year long abusive marriage before that??? Meaning since she was an early teen she's been married? WTF? Or did I read wrong?

I just went back, and the early-30s was when they got married.

This morning my bus broke down on Lakeshore Drive. Another bus stopped eventually, but I still had a hike to my building. I rolled my ankle in the middle of an intersection. I actually have to do work all day today.

Oh, Wednesday. You've betrayed me so.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Woo hoo!!!

Okay, I think if I'm very, very careful. . . I can pay that bill. It will be very close.

But the shock. I'm still not over it.
