Natter 53: We could just avoid making tortured puns
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I am not sure what cilantro tastes like.
I am not a geek and I use (and love) bloglines.
I switch hands, usually, although (and I am sure I actually mentioned this in the last discussion) when I was a little girl I didn't. And my mother was all offended, saying "Are you from EUROPE? or a BARBARIAN!". This is very similar to her views on wearing a watch on one's right wrist if one is right handed 'Do you want people to think you are LEFT-HANDED!?!"
I think everything is made better with bacon.
Jessica, it's very nice of you to put this link in your tag.
Bobbi, I don't think I've ever posted with you before, so welcome!
wearing a watch on one's right wrist if one is right handed 'Do you want people to think you are LEFT-HANDED!?!"
I wear my watch on my right hand, because I found it to be more comfortable than on the left hand (and I am not left handed, and I can't find a proper way to insert a "Princess Bride" joke here, alas).
I don't switch, but if I'm eating something with a fork but no knife, I use my right hand.
Cilantro, boo!
Grapefruit - it's been so long since I've eaten one I couldn't even say. Like the juice, though.
Rootbeer, yay, though I don't drink it often.
I wear my watch on my right wrist. But I'm left handed, so I'm not the best subject for this question.
RIght handed, wear my watch (when I have one) on my left wrist.
Me, In summary:
Cilantro - yay
Grapefruit - boo
Olives - Boo
Root Beer - yay
Bagel - Montreal
Bacon - yay
Tomatoes - yay
Nothing From the Sea
Pineapple on pizza - Wrong
Beer - yay
Scotch - Yay
Tequila - no
Fernet - never tried
Sleep - Stomach and side
Fork - Left hand
Watch - Left hand
I am left handed

Nilly!! About a week ago I had a dream that I got to introduce you to Dylan. I can't remember why Dream! You was in New York, but it was pretty cool.
Right-handed, left-watched.

Oh, that's so cool! Now I envy Dream!Me quite a bit. I've just looked at your pictures, and the Cutest Milestone Ever is, indeed, the cutest ever. It's almost a reason in and of itself to get to NYC!
- Cilantro: yes
- Grapefruit: yes
- Calamari: yes, if it's not to chewey.
- Olives: no
- Tomatoes: Only if they're cooked, just like Nilly
- Root Beer: yes
- Bagel: Montreal is probably better in general than NY, but bagels from certain Jewish neighborhoods in NY kick Montreals ass.
- Pineapple on pizza: Usually no, but for some reason I was craving it yesterday
- Beer: The more bitter, the better.
- Scotch: yes
- Fork: I switch hands
- Watch: left wrist (right-handed)
My two biggest ewws are olives and eggplant, which is somewhat embarrassing given that my name ends in a vowel.
Tomatoes: Only if they're cooked, just like Nilly
High-fives Tom
And Dana, too, right? And more people I forget.
Whenever people talk about the different things they enjoy or dislike to eat, especially things that I find great, I need to remind myself that there are, indeed, people who really like and enjoy eating those disgusting raw tomatoes. And, therefore, anything in the universe is possible. In fact, the tomatoes are quite educational for me, in this regard.
