Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I can see him tucking it away just in case though, especially if he thought it might help Dean somehow.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

My initial thought was that we'd spent the past hour learning that the coin led to no good, and then I thought later that the bad only happens to the wisher, and if Sam sacrificed himself by making a wish for Dean (that he doesn't remember hell?)... but that doesn't work either, because you can't say that the wish didn't end up badly for Hope, since she was driven to murder (and probably would have eventually killed Wes with her love and then killed herself).

I can see it being held onto, just in case, and it wouldn't make a lick of sense with all of the facts, but perhaps Sam forsees that in the future, he might not care, or that maybe he could find a way around it, excuses excuses. But I do hope that's the last we see of the coin, because I don't want to believe that Sam is that stupid.

What is even happening?

My personal interpretation is that it is magic. And even though Joxer remembers what he did none of it actually happened. This makes no sense but there would be no reason for the magical object (which came from what magical entitities?) to punish whatshername for what he did. . . or I suppose what she did (wishing Sam dead) under the influence.

This is how I think it should have worked. The biggest argument against it though, is that the Teddy Bear's head was still all ripped in the back (and had red tape across the gunshot exit wound).

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

And Audrey's parents had that sunburn you get when you wear your sunglasses at the beach. Red face, white eyes. I didn't catch that when I was looking at the bear. So they really went to Bali and it had lasting effects.

I hope Sam didn't keep the coin, but I agree that it is not beyond him. I didn't like the line about not going back, not being the same man. I mean, I know it is happening, but seeing him actually harden is almost too much.

eta: I'm still grieving for Jess even if he isn't.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I kid you not. I heard on the radio that there is a preacher man coming to town that claims to heal people. He's (or his corporation is) renting one of the halls at a local hotel.

Dude, I gotta go and see if I see any reapers.

ION, when Dean told Sam to make that wish to go back, why hadn't he already thrown a coin in the well, and keeping in mind that wishes have to be carefully planned to avoid any suicidal teddy bears, said very specifically, "I want time to go back to Nov 1st, 1983. I don't want Sammy or myself to remember anything. I should however, have the compulsion to tell my mother, the monster hunter, that a man with yellow eyes is coming to the house tomorrow night." That way Mary has time to decide on fight or flight.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I thought the coin got melted down. One of the boys said it was, don't remember which one. I think they're smart enough to realize any wish they try to outthink is still going to come back and bite them in the ass.

Sam said it, but we didn't see it happen.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Sam didn't even want to make a wish when Dean asked him to. i doubt very much he hung onto the coin.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Someone on my flist is catching up on SPN, and she recently watched "Jus in Bello" and was really upset about Victor's death. This is what she said:

(Seriously, Victor is not dead. Or he will at least come back as a helpful-but-sarcastic ghost. Right?)

Hilarious!
