It's really too bad that the boys don't have a Dennis.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Sam didn't even want to make a wish when Dean asked him to. i doubt very much he hung onto the coin.

I would have said this too, but after this episode and the "I'm not the same man" line, I don't know who Sam is anymore. It's been a little upsetting actually because I don't have a handle on a character who I thought I understood. Not upsetting in a I-can't-go-to-work-tomorrow way, but just unsettling.

I think they're smart enough to realize any wish they try to outthink is still going to come back and bite them in the ass.

Sam was- I think. At the time, I think Dean was seriously suggesting Sam try it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I spent a good chunk of the weekend rewatching S1. One of the things I noted was Meg's clothing, since the comment about her "dressing like a slut" in the current season. There was a scene with her shirt off one shoulder, showing a sexy black bra strap, shots of short shirts that showed skin above her pants and then there was the scene where she was in just her bra in the window, knowing that Sam was watching her from the car.

I had forgotten those bits and had just remembered jeans and a leather jacket for most of her scenes.

Interview with Ted Raimi - mostly about his roles in Legend of the Seeker and Supernatural.

You know he and Mitch Pileggi both talk about how their significant other's turned them onto the show. I think that's amusing.

Plus, his fanboying Metallicar!

ugh. WTF is wrong with the posters at TWoP? apparently people have been complaining about Bobby being in too many episodes and how ridiculous it was that he spoke Japanese. well...Jim Beaver has been lurking and posted the following:

I'm only posting this to address a couple of things I saw in the forum conversation. Someone said I've been in 14 episodes in two seasons. That's not correct. I've done 16 of the 77 episodes that have been shot so far, or about 1 out of 5. I've never done more than 7 episodes in a 22-episode season. But if it helps any, as I said, I'm cutting back. :-)

The script to "Yellow Fever" didn't have Bobby speaking Japanese. It just had a Japanese spirit infecting Dean. I mentioned to Eric Kripke that I speak Japanese myself, and suggested it might be fun to have Bobby say something in the language. To those who wonder what possible reason Bobby would have for knowing Japanese, I'd say it's probably the same reason I have for speaking it: I love languages and about 12 years ago I decided to study Japanese. Maybe Bobby loves languages, too. So blame me, not Bobby or Kripke.

Because books.

Oh, wow. How much do I want to hug Jim Beaver right now?

Also, how much do I want to go hide in a corner at the idea of any of the cast reading those boards? Yikes.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My complaint is that Bobby isn't in enough episodes. My response to the Japanese was the same as my response to the anti-demon bunker: Cool.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Didn't he and John originally know each other as a result of being in the service? Not exactly farfetched that an American G.I. stationed overseas might learn a foreign language...
