Supernatural 1: Saving People, Hunting Things - the Family Business
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Hey, I just realized that Alexis Drazen is from Day 1 of 24 and I have the dvds of that season!
Yes, I can do a comparison of Eurotrash Terrorist Misha vs. Midwestern Angel Misha.
They are very, very different.
Also - I love how the trees around Dean's graves looked like the trees on Mount St Helen's.
He Buffy'd his way out the grave and ended up in Tunguska.
Now that I think about it, I wonder if there's any connection between Dean's being yanked out of Hell and chosen to do God's work, and the fact that he was the one who offed the YED.
In other news, I wonder if Dean's burn mark will fade?
I wonder if Dean's burn mark will fade
I am away from my VCR at the moment - if I remember correctly, the hand print was raised, wasn't it? Is that normal for a recent burn of that size? If so, would it be likely to at least fade to a less prominent mark? (By that, I mean level with the skin surface.)
Take that, omens of cancellation!
Yes!! We have hot Angels of God on our side. Booyah!
He has a big ole crush on me
I'm pretty sure I heard something pop in my brain.
Now, whether somebody paid for it is another question.
It took me a moment to figure out if you meant fired or you were deciding if a fan forked over money to see such a pretty sight. My brain is still slow from the above video.
Archangels are notoriously grubby, at least in popular lit and film. Michael, for example. And the angel in Constantine. Angels in The Prophecy movies.
I have such love for this genre. I will gladly admit to my fannish adoration of Dogma. "Boop"
I was left thinking that part of Dean's endless torture would be escaping from Hell only to discover it was all a lie.
This was what was going through my mind when I asked if we were sure Dean was really out of Hell. I'm relieved as well that it was something so much bigger.
I am so happy with SHOW right now. I don't have to go in tomorrow so I may watch it a third time.
Only a third, Austin?
It's like I don't even know you anymore.
you didn't give me a chance to edit that to "third time
today.
I've watched the crush video four times if that helps.
One thing I'll point out about Sam shacking up with Ruby (if that's what is going on); is that it's basically rape. That body who's sleeping with Sam doesn't belong to Ruby, and the girl who owns the body didn't consent to the sex.
... not that I expect the show to acknowledge that. At all. Ever.
The previouslies made me very cranky. Whyfor the focus on how many women they'd shot/killed/beaten?
Despite that, I thought it was a really intriguing episode, and I totally guessed Castiel was an Angel--if only a few minutes before the reveal.
That point's been made elsewhere, Consuela, and not without some merit to it, IMO.
The complaints about the previouslies have been sort of widespread, too. I choose to think of it as "This was Dean on his way to hell in S3." Now maybe we get Dean out of hell in S4, and a difference to be remarked on. I do think it was run that way to set up a comparison. I hope, anyway.
if you meant fired
nope.
or you were deciding if a fan forked over money to see such a pretty sight
Or a crew member. Or a staff member. Or a (gasp)*cast* member. Just, you know...anyone.
