Because books.

Heh. Good girl.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

One thing I'll point out about Sam shacking up with Ruby (if that's what is going on); is that it's basically rape. That body who's sleeping with Sam doesn't belong to Ruby, and the girl who owns the body didn't consent to the sex.

... not that I expect the show to acknowledge that. At all. Ever.

The previouslies made me very cranky. Whyfor the focus on how many women they'd shot/killed/beaten?

Despite that, I thought it was a really intriguing episode, and I totally guessed Castiel was an Angel--if only a few minutes before the reveal.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

That point's been made elsewhere, Consuela, and not without some merit to it, IMO.

The complaints about the previouslies have been sort of widespread, too. I choose to think of it as "This was Dean on his way to hell in S3." Now maybe we get Dean out of hell in S4, and a difference to be remarked on. I do think it was run that way to set up a comparison. I hope, anyway.

if you meant fired

nope.

or you were deciding if a fan forked over money to see such a pretty sight

Or a crew member. Or a staff member. Or a (gasp)*cast* member. Just, you know...anyone.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That was totally weird.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I just realized that I can totally spoil myself now. Congrats to me for remaining unspoiled for the first episode. I can check that off things to do in my life.

Seriously, Castiel did have more of an impact to me because I didn't know about him. But I have back interviews to read and miles to go before I sleep.

Oh and for my last unspoiled post, I just want to state for record that bringing Ellen, John, Mary, and Jess back would be superspectacular. For to have them, please?

Now, off to subscribe to the spoilers threads again. Yay!

Found a lolcats Castiel picture which seemed to be appropriate to our reaction on the W&P. [link]

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Nice!

Oddly enough, the shadow-wings look better in a still photo than they did in action.

Rather than the wings, the thing I thought was really impressive about Castiel's entrance was the way he was lit only in flashes as he walked up to Dean and Bobby.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

lolcats Castiel

hee! So true.

Oddly enough, the shadow-wings look better in a still photo than they did in action.

I think it was the movement. It didn't seem quite natural, more like they were the silhouette of mechanical wings. I could also be pulling that out of my-- out of thin air.
