Who gets to be Dean and who gets to be Sam?
Clearly, you are Sam.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Hmmmm.
Don't know if this article is spoilerish, "Jared Padalecki Teases 'Supernatural' Surprises": [link]
It is spoilerish - but in question asking, not in answering
Yay! Just saw the good news. It feels weird to not have to worry. I don't know quite what to do with myself.
Be antsy 'til the end of April?
Worry about whether it was 13 epiodes or all 22?
Oh, I'd think since it's the fourth season it would be all 22 episodes.
::stubbornly optimistic::
I get the "antsy till April" thing, though. Boy, do I ever.
One thing that makes me as happy as the renewal news is that Kripke was quoted saying that he's pushing back the big S3 climax partway into S4. That he doesn't want to just rush over the arc he had planned, and that with advance warning they can tailor S4's arc to fewer episodes.
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens, and I'd rather not be shortchanged on the story, so this pleases me more than a Reader's Digest Condensed version of the S3 arc. JP has done so well with the additional emotional weight Sam's carried this season, I want to watch as Sam goes through whatever changes may be in store.
I'm choosing to believe they'll get a full season, and Season 5 after that, so Kripke can tie the bow on the Winchesters' saga.
Also, Amy? And anyone else who was curious about the hug in Mystery Spot being unscripted, it was anteka (mastermind of Plastic Winchester Theatre) who was asked last fall to bring "her boys" and visit the set, give a presentation on her concept, and hang out for a few days. She had a chance to read the MS script and watch some of the filming. And in her review of 3.11, she was giddy about the hug, that it hadn't been in the script she read. I don't think her entry is locked, so you could track it down if you're curious.
That's awesome about the hug, Bev. Go JP's instincts.
I completely agree with your hopes for S4 (and S5m fingers crossed), too.

That's fabulous news.
In other news, my friend Liz is now thoroughly hooked on the show, having mainlined S1 and S2 over the course of three weeks. For someone who went in completely unspoiled, she was very quick to catch on to things such as the Crossroads demon becoming important, Gordon not being a one-shot villain (I can't wait until she sees his S3 appearance), etc. She's still a bit pissed off about Ava going evil and Andy being killed off, but I think she's in good company there.
