Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Ohhh, antiques hunters. Right.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm trying to think of who I would have cast who would have been believable a) as the sort of girl Dean would hit on just out of general principle and b) the sort of person who'd be hard for him to leave or forget (and yet not be all mushy about it).

Tracie Thoms.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, I love that idea.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I mean, I am sure she's a lovely person and a fine actress

she's really not. well...a fine actress anyway. she killed The 4400 last season and thankfully they've relegated her to a glorified extra this year.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Plei wins.

Because books.

The actress who played Cassie sort of disappeared for me. It was all about watching Dean's face, imagining him really being that vulnerable, actually giving his heart to someone, and not just his body.

Aparently, my imagination fills in blanks for me.

I wanted Cassie to be ... pricklier. Someone he really had to be on his toes with.

And again, I give you exhibit a: Tracie Thoms.

Okay, SURE she's an up-and-coming, no doubt out of their price range, probably has SO much more going on than just guesting on a WB show actress, but damn, can you imagine?

Sigh.

I need to rewatch Wonderfalls.

For no good reason I'm having a hard time picturing it. Them. Whatever. But you're right -- she's exactly what I'm thinking of.

I was trying to be gracious. Seems it was unnecessary. [eta: Okay, that sounded bitchy of me. Which, I didn't mean. Well, to the actress maybe a little. I just haven't watched her elsewhere was all I meant. So I hoped it was just bad casting in that one role. Needless to say, I won't be checking out more of her work intentionally.]

So Playthings starting at 7:30 boardtime and we'll skip through commercials. (Really, I don't think it's possible to do this without our stutter starts but my hope really does spring eternal.)

Art Crawl!!!

Because she is 1. smart and 2. can act - she'd really keep Dean on his toes.
