The actress who played Cassie sort of disappeared for me. It was all about watching Dean's face, imagining him really being that vulnerable, actually giving his heart to someone, and not just his body.
Aparently, my imagination fills in blanks for me.
I wanted Cassie to be ... pricklier. Someone he really had to be on his toes with.

she's really not. well...a fine actress anyway. she killed The 4400 last season and thankfully they've relegated her to a glorified extra this year.I was trying to be gracious. Seems it was unnecessary. [eta: Okay, that sounded bitchy of me. Which, I didn't mean. Well, to the actress maybe a little. I just haven't watched her elsewhere was all I meant. So I hoped it was just bad casting in that one role. Needless to say, I won't be checking out more of her work intentionally.]

Whether she can act or not (and honestly I didn't think she was *that* bad) she's gorgeous. Her skin is just perfect.
