The actress who played Cassie sort of disappeared for me. It was all about watching Dean's face, imagining him really being that vulnerable, actually giving his heart to someone, and not just his body.
Aparently, my imagination fills in blanks for me.

Seems it was unnecessary. [eta: Okay, that sounded bitchy of me. Which, I didn't mean. Well, to the actress maybe a little. I just haven't watched her elsewhere was all I meant. So I hoped it was just bad casting in that one role. Needless to say, I won't be checking out more of her work intentionally.]
