I think surveymonkey.com also allows "other"/text box options and is also free, at least at the basic level.

We probably have too many people taking the poll for it to be the free level at SurveyMonkey (I think the limit is 100 surveys taken). BUT, I have a paid account there, so if we need that, it's there.

Well, huh. Nevermind. I guess I don't have a paid account there anymore.

I have to run off to a twelve hour workday, but I'll pick up a paid account at surveymonkey and host the poll.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks Sean. I know nothing of surveymonkey except Monkey!

3. I post at b.org for: a. general social interaction/maintaining establishing friendships b. discussion of TV c. discussion of fandom d. more than one of the above e. none of the above f. all of the above

Not being smartass, really - just pedantic I guess. Could you swap E and F so that "All of the above" does not include "None of the above?"

Otherwise, good job, and kudos to everyone who's been working on this.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thinking about poll logistics, we only want to tally the number of people giving a given answer, right? I don't see why we can't use Mr. Poll for free for that, rather than anyone ponying up for a paid service. It's not like we'll need to crosstab the results or anything. Just a thought.

Thrive to spite them

Does Mr. Poll have text box options?

Oh yeah, they don't.

Ooh, I just got something at work from [link] and it looks like they allow for text boxes, although I haven't looked into it that closely.

Just a quick update -- I have to do some more errands this morning, but should be able get things going by noon-ish, board time.
