Thanks Sean. I know nothing of surveymonkey except Monkey!

3. I post at b.org for: a. general social interaction/maintaining establishing friendships b. discussion of TV c. discussion of fandom d. more than one of the above e. none of the above f. all of the above
Not being smartass, really - just pedantic I guess. Could you swap E and F so that "All of the above" does not include "None of the above?"
Otherwise, good job, and kudos to everyone who's been working on this.
Thinking about poll logistics, we only want to tally the number of people giving a given answer, right? I don't see why we can't use Mr. Poll for free for that, rather than anyone ponying up for a paid service. It's not like we'll need to crosstab the results or anything. Just a thought.
Does Mr. Poll have text box options?
Oh yeah, they don't.
Ooh, I just got something at work from [link] and it looks like they allow for text boxes, although I haven't looked into it that closely.
Just a quick update -- I have to do some more errands this morning, but should be able get things going by noon-ish, board time.
yeah, sorry - I am swamped and cannot even get to draft the changes to the poll today. I hope to do it tonight and then it can get into poll format and put tomorrow.
Okay, so there's less of a rush on posting the poll. Good. I'm having other problems right now, like a missing (but not stolen) wallet.
poll posse. I have re-worded soem questions to be reviewed.
It looks like with more than 100 potential respondents we will need to have a paid account somewhere. SurveyMonkey is $19.95/mo - FreeSurveysOnline.com is 9.99/mo for students.
I was wondering about using the free surveymonkey site, but having 2 people post the survey using different free accounts - then have the board split alpha (by real last name ) to fill it out. I kinda doubt we would have more that 200 responses.
