"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Perfect. So...

The white font for comics spoilers, which was my personal deal breaker, how does that work with other threads where previously, we were, say, free to talk about the Bucky and Natasha sexcapades during the whole Bucky Cap era, or the fact that there was a Bucky Cap era, or the entire arc that led to the Bucky Cap era and was mainstream news at the time?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Will the Marvel thread be ready by tonight?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My gut feeling is that it would not apply to other threads.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I wish we had been able to have some more discussion about spoiler policy in general- I was just trying to go with what the most people seemed to want.

I think it would not apply to other threads, but we are not supposed to talk about MCU in other threads except comics?

I was thinking about proposing a more global discussion of spoiler policy now that everything is so different in terms of how we ingest media.

I would like to have that discussion without the time limit maybe? Can we do that?

If it wouldn't apply to other threads, what's the point of having it? I was offline for a lot of the prevote discussion, but I probably would have brought this up then. Especially when some of us are in comics fandom, so we might actually organically bring it up in conversations, because we do that a lot.

I think we do need a bigger picture spoiler discussion, because it just gets weird.

I think it is moot that it doesn't apply to other threads, because there would be no MCU talk in there!

I think it is important to have a time limited discussion, but maybe we should extend the discussion time frame.

Let me think a bit and I will propose something, unless someone else wants to do it- the whole spoiler thing was makeung me crazy as you can see if you go into the thread!

But comics could come up in any conversation. Have we had a rule or have people just been using their own judgment? I think I remember some Winter Soldier comic stuff being spoilerfonted in Movies, for example. And I appreciate that sort of thing, because while it's not really a spoiler as obviously the movies aren't necessarily gonna do what the comics did it is often more fun for me as someone who is not familiar with the comics to not have second-hand preconceptions. But does every mention of What Happened in Comics need to be spoilerfonted everywhere? Doubtful. And some places decidedly not.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

We can discuss whatever we like for as long as we like. It's what we do. The four day time limit only comes up when someone makes a formal proposal with the required secondses.
