I think it is moot that it doesn't apply to other threads, because there would be no MCU talk in there!
But comics could come up in any conversation. Have we had a rule or have people just been using their own judgment? I think I remember some Winter Soldier comic stuff being spoilerfonted in Movies, for example. And I appreciate that sort of thing, because while it's not really a spoiler as obviously the movies aren't necessarily gonna do what the comics did it is often more fun for me as someone who is not familiar with the comics to not have second-hand preconceptions. But does every mention of What Happened in Comics need to be spoilerfonted everywhere? Doubtful. And some places decidedly not.
I would like to have that discussion without the time limit maybe? Can we do that?
We can discuss whatever we like for as long as we like. It's what we do. The four day time limit only comes up when someone makes a formal proposal with the required secondses.

We don't forbid talk of things outside their thread, though. Most of my MCU talk is probably still going to be in Fic, probably sometimes elsewhere if I am being general about What I Did This Week (aka, shallow movie talk)
Ok, so we need thread names, slugs, and descriptions (including spoiler policy) for the new threads.
For the streaming thread title, maybe something like
Streaming 1: There goes the weekend.
Or: One bag of popcorn won't be enough.
Streaming 1: Pissing on top of the world.
