I've seen honest faces before. They usually come attached to liars.

Our wings are not tired.

My personal opinion is go bullshit consense, choose bullshit consense, but we have these rules in place.

Agreed.

Vote or not, either way works for me. I think many of us would like to show our support in some way. Saying it for the whole board probably means we should vote. I anticipate a landslide.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I feel like sometimes I'm the most pro big-business buffista, and I think the icon is fine.

But are the lurkers supporting you in email?

Look, guys, I'm the pedant here. But if it comes up next time there's something that we obviously support as a board but doesn't include you and you don't get to use official process to object...it'd feel like a waste of cheesebutt to me.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

If we're going to vote (and I think we should), can we go ahead and open Lightbulbs? That way the clock can start ticking.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

ita is wise.

The phrase "We're like those tree things in the girlie elf movie." translates into "ents" in your head in about a nanosecond.

No kidding!! I was totally thinking what you were thinking Aimee.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Although I personally want the image up ASAP, maybe not everyone here is actually in favour of the strike, and would like the opportunity to vote against the site supporting it.
ita is wise. And speaks for me, as well. I personally want it and wish we could bullshit consense. But Buffistas should have the option of voting on something that reflects on the entire community.

Visilurking

Why not put up logo and then vote? Best of both worlds.

Allyson - Nov 09, 2007 10:54:56 am PST #1946 of 6786
Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Look, if one of us was like, dying, and a logo would make a magical cure happen, we'd put the friggin logo up, right?

I just want to make sure we're not totally tree thingies.

In case I'm dying and need a magical logo.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If we're going to vote (and I think we should), can we go ahead and open Lightbulbs? That way the clock can start ticking.

Ditto.

Lightbulbs is open.

Stay gold, Allyson, stay gold.
