Isn't that kinda the *entire* part?
Okay, so I'm an idiot. I was looking at the other parts of this.
Information is linked, and I think it sort of means we'd put the strike icon on our header, and inform them if we make donations that it's coming from Buffistas, or if we do our own thing that we let them know so they can add it to their list.
I'm having a What would ita do? moment. I feel like she has principled positions and such, whereas I just have my sense of right and wrong and that's not really applicable here.
heh. Why look? ita just posted, and she was all principled and the like.
Do we need to open lightbulbs?
It does feel silly to me, too. I would want to put up our sign right away. We're like those tree things in the girlie elf movie. It's frustrating.
I support a link or icon and so forth. If we're gonna vote let's do this quickly.
maybe not everyone here is actually in favour of the strike, and would like the opportunity to vote against the site supporting it.
I feel like sometimes I'm the most pro big-business buffista, and I think the icon is fine.
Signs you speak Allyson:
The phrase "We're like those tree things in the girlie elf movie." translates into "ents" in your head in about a nanosecond.
My personal opinion is go bullshit consense, choose bullshit consense, but we have these rules in place.
Agreed.
Vote or not, either way works for me. I think many of us would like to show our support in some way. Saying it for the whole board probably means we should vote. I anticipate a landslide.

But are the lurkers supporting you in email?
Look, guys, I'm the pedant here. But if it comes up next time there's something that we
obviously
support as a board but doesn't include you and you don't get to use official process to object...it'd feel like a waste of cheesebutt to me.
