If the camera is shaky it is by definition NOT steadicam. Sam Raimi perfected shaky cam in the Evil Dead movies, but NEITHER is what you're thinking of. Your talking about hand-held. BIG DIFFERENCE!

Well, they've already fucked with canon by making Kirk and Spock the same age, haven't they? Or having them at the Academy at the same time.
The description from Jessica's DH has Spock serving on the Enterprise while Kirk is still a cadet.
