Agree about J Lo's likeability in Out of Sight and The Cell.
I think my biggest beef in The Cell is that I wanted more Vince Vaughn, and that is the only time you will ever hear me say that.
I have such adoring memories of Out of Sight, but last time I caught a bit of it on the telly I was surprised at how it was much more violent than I remembered. And cruel violent, not fun violent.
But, still love Clooney and Lopez in it.

Although that dude tripping on the stairs and shooting himself in the head was kinda both.
I think it was also shocking to go back and discover that it was Don Cheadle playing one of the nasty gangsters --and I love Don Cheadle! I've only ever seen him play decent, good-hearted, intelligent characters, so imagine my surprise.
Oh, back to Lopez, I really enjoyed
An Unfinished Life
with Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman (and Damian Lewis in a small role as the bastard ex-boyfriend --I watched it for him and came away liking the whole thing). It was "hey, that's right, she
can
act, I forgot!"

You should see Devil in a Blue Dress, where he plays a guy who is beyond standup to his friends, but also basically a total sociopath.
Devil in a Blue Dress
Again, another movie I saw before I knew who he was! (I first noticed and fell in love with him in Swordfish).
Mouse is such a great character.
Definitely. Great movie, that.
Mouse is such a great character.
Yeah, you don't wanna fuck with Mouse.
