A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mouse is such a great character.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I just watched The Fast and the Furious. It was all right, decent entertainment with cars and shooting and the occasional explosion and/or crash. I'll probably watch the sequels for kicks.

Now tagless for your comfort.

There's a fourth one. Saw the trailer with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriguez.

Oh, I know. That's why I became interested in finally seeing the movies in the first place.

Because books.

I finally saw The Dark Knight last night, and good god did I love it. I actually liked it more than Batman Begins, because I thought it was tighter (if still a little long -- Nolan does love his action scenes, doesn't he?) and more focused.

I'm still bouncing.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

rewatched Ocean's Eleven, and man, I still love that ending. So very much The Right Stuff with the fountain standing in for the naked feather dancer. Such a wonderful scene of satisfaction.
