Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Helen Mirren (so young!) and Diana Rigg from 1968 production of Midsummer Night's Dream.

I remember that production! they showed it on PBS when I was a tween. Also, note the very young David Warner.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Beau and I just watched The Fall and I have to say that I enjoyed it more than Pan's Labyrinth. I think I just typed heresy, but I'm putting it out there. Tarsem isn't exactly my favorite director, I found The Cell to be beautiful, but a broken movie. I liked The Fall a lot better. It isn't wonderful, but I found it enjoyable - and needing maybe an additional scene or 2. Lee Pace was excellent.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

For a movie about twelve dudes stuck in a room yelling at each other, 12 Angry Men sure is good.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Now I'm sad you saw Veronica Mars first. The episode where she has jury duty is a total tribute.

As is the Cupid episode "Hung Jury."

I [Rob Thomas] remained convinced that I could handle a 12 Angry Men-style bottle episode, but I ultimately proved myself wrong by attempting it on Veronica Mars and failing once again. I am unilaterally banning myself from any more attempts at a bottle episode in a jury room.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The "Charmed" version of 12 Angry Men is hilarious also.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I really enjoyed Burn After Reading - it's not up there with Fargo, but it's sharp and fast-paced and hysterically funny. JK Simmons is fantastically wonderful. Clooney does a great job parodying his Syriana character. Brad Pitt cracked me up.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

An episode where all of the action takes place in one location, generally written to save money after a vfx or action-heavy ep.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I'm finally watching Casino Royale. I'm a bit disappointed that the best they could come up with for the villain banker is "Le Chiffre". Lame.
