I loved Iron Man so much. It scared me and touched me, made me laugh and go "ooh!" and everything a good action movie oughtta do.
Speed Racer made me glad I hadn't paid for my ticket. I think it could have been a good 2 hour movie but (like the 2nd and 3rd matrix movies) too many scenes cried out for an editor. Still it had moments of joy and Emile Hirsch, John Goodman and Christina Ricci were fabulous (as were the kid and chimp playing Spritle and Chim-Chim). I thought Susan Sarandon was mostly wasted. I'm glad I saw it because now I can explain it to others.
Is it because I've skipped here that I didn't know Eddie Izzard was doing the voice of Reepicheep?
I don't like any of Ferrara's movies
Ms. 45!
I'll see that and raise KING OF NEW YORK for casting alone.
I didn't know that, Cash! Awesome! I can not wait for this movie!

I love King of New York anyway because it's Lawrence Fishburne's coolest role ever.

Jimmy Jump! The suitcase full of tampons is still one of the funniest deals gone bad scenes evah!

That's kind of what I've been afraid of. The Worchowskis being in serious need of an editor has been my quick and easy summary of why I don't like the Matrix sequels as well. It's disappointing that Speed Racer is more of the same, as the trailers/commercials have been visually stunning.
I can't help but feel the original Matrix was too successful for the Warchowskis' own good. I don't know whether they feel they're above needing an editor, or their previous success gives them too much free reign from their higherups, but the end result is movies fulls of things like 8 and a half minute rave/sex scenes that bore audiences to tears.
"uweboll"
That's some genius right there.
