Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Oh well, there you go. Why are they making it? $
I was surprised to find that I...sort of enjoyed Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear as conjoined twins in "Stuck On You" yesterday. Not that I'm...recommending it, but considering I saw the trailers when it came out and got all "There oughta be a law!" and so forth, it was surprisingly close to touching. I really did come to believe them as brothers who were stuck together. It's still a strange movie, but not an assault on human dignity or anything.
I enjoyed that film, Erika. Lots of fun and I actually got a little choked up at the end.
Having Cher play herself was a hoot.
eta: Ah, man! There was only one LA one. Lack of love, dude. Still, cool as shit and I wish I'd seen it before it was complete.

Video of the last scene shot in all 4 Indiana Jones' movies.
ETA: warning - loud Indiana Jones theme music plays as soon as the site loads.
I'm not sure if this is more properly Literary or TV, but I'm looking for a list of fictional spy organizations. Like, who Arnie worked for in True Lies, or U.N.C.L.E. Or even Treadstone, or whatever the assassin project was called in Bourne.
The group in La Femme Nikita was called Section One.
On Alias, Sydney Bristow worked for SD-6 for the first couple seasons.
(Or are you looking for an already-assembled list, which would probably be more help than me just listing off TV trivia?)
I was wondering if Wikipedia had it, but it doesn't seem so. They do have a list of fictional secret agents, though.
