It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. I'm not sure if this is more properly Literary or TV, but I'm looking for a list of fictional spy organizations. Like, who Arnie worked for in True Lies, or U.N.C.L.E. Or even Treadstone, or whatever the assassin project was called in Bourne.
The group in La Femme Nikita was called Section One.
On Alias, Sydney Bristow worked for SD-6 for the first couple seasons.
(Or are you looking for an already-assembled list, which would probably be more help than me just listing off TV trivia?)
I was wondering if Wikipedia had it, but it doesn't seem so. They do have a list of fictional secret agents, though.
Derek Flint, i.e. Our Man Flint (I originally typed that as "Out Man Flint"), worked for Z.O.W.I.E.
just saw the trailer for Wanted. awesome! can't wait to see it.
Man I never realized how often people say "the greater good" until I saw Hot Fuzz. Now I can't resist parroting it back.
In the Bond books (and first few movies?) the bad guys were SMERSH. In the movies (or the later ones) they were SPECTRE.
And of course, KAOS were the baddies on Get Smart.
SMERSH isn't fictional.

Huh. Guess that's the new thing I learned today.
