Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
Ooh, thanks for the reminder--I meant to record that.
Yup, that's right up my alley. Thanks for the hand-holding, y'all.
Oh, and just in case anyone was going, "Elisabeth Moss and Gillian Anderson in something together?" I was totally wrong on that one. It's EM and another crush, Lucy Lawless. Also has Holly Hunter and written by Jane Campion. I, for one, can't wait. [link]

Intriguing mix! I love Jane Campion. I love Holly Hunter. And it's got Faramir in it too.
Yes, it does! And Xena.
Nice review of Bunheads. Somehow I had missed the fact that it's an Amy Sherman-Palladino how. Excellent.
Oh, good! I'm looking forward to that.
Completely parenthetical note, but I just got caught up on Mad Men, went to Badass Digest for their reaction to the episode, read one reviewer talking at some length about how Lane's death was the worst television gutpunch he'd had to cope with since Joyce Summers, and ISTG about a third of the comments are from people whining, "I just started watching Buffy! How could you just throw in a spoiler like that, you bastard?"
Heh. I feel for them, though, as a spoilerphobe!
I'm watching the Breaking Bad special features, and, holy crap, Giancarlo Esposito is so different from Gus it's crazy. His voice is different, his speech is different, his eyes are different, his body language is different...he's so goddamn amazing in that role he makes it look easy, like that must just be how he is because it seems so natural and perfect. Give him all the goddamn awards.
Oh, he is one of the great unsung actors whose talent seems to slip by mostly unnoticed.
