No mention of Burn Notice? Finally saw it last night and loved it. Some blogger last year talked about the "take-away" aspect of the show, i.e. the stuff you walk away with that you didn't know before. Now I know how to drive through the woods in a cadillac without setting off the airbag sensors and how to drill through a floor and anchor it so it doesn't fall into the room I'm breaking into.

This show is so much fun.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

They've been running commercials highlighting exactly that aspect of th show recently.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's a good show. I enjoy it, plus I'm learning a lot. I also liked that they finally stopped pushing him together with is exgirlfriend. She's a great character, and I felt that it detracted from her to be pining after him all of the time. Sharon Gless continues to be magic.

Art Crawl!!!

It's true - I'm glad that she's realized that whatever it is - it wasn't working. . . exactly.

I never liked the pining either, but they needed a reason for Fi to stick around and keep working for him. Friendship goes so far, and for Sam it's still a paying gig. What's Fi's interest now?

I couldn't agree more. She's my favorite character, followed by Sam, Fi, and Michael in that order. And last episode with the coffee pot crisis, and after he finally explains that he was protecting her all those years by not calling her, she pauses for a beat and says "that still doesn't explain why you couldn't write." She's awesome. Almost making me totally forget that horrific role and storyline in N/T.

Lots of Riches alums on tv the past couple of weeks: Cael in L&O:CI - and Todd Stashwick on The Middleman AND Psych. And the guy he played on Psych could be recurring. (Based on the part - not on any actual information.)

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I've been watching the Mad Men marathon all day, and I need someone to explain to me how I am supposed to appreciate this. It is so bleak and negative and I don't like any of the characters. What am I missing?

Am I supposed to like Don?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

For me it's not so much about ''liking'' the characters, but I enjoy how fucked up the whole thing is, and I think the writing is sharp.
