Jesse, we just watched the last two last night! Oh, the HSQ. I don't think they actually built up to that ending through the whole season, but the plot gnarliness is so secondary to the wonderfulness that is John Simm and Philip Glenister that I just went along for the ride.
'Out Of Gas'
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
I also love the actress who played Annie. Such a smile and she had an amazingly musical voice, I thought.
Annie was definitely one of my favorite things about LoM - there is really no way that she'd be in the spin-off, is there?
I swear that every time I watched the opening credits and saw Annie, I thought to myself, "I wonder what the actress is doing these days?" -- I kept forgetting that the show wasn't filmed in the 70's!
I saw her in an episode of that show that had Jamie Bamber and Sendhil Ramamurthy - you know about the British commando guys.
Empress's New Clothes is apparently Liz White's next project.
More about Empress' New Clothes - sounds like fun. I guess there is no hope that the 4 fairy tale shows will ever be shown over here.
Season 4 of Wire in the Blood is coming out Feb 5th.
It's so odd that Amazon informed me of that because I've never actually bought any Wire in the Blood.
I keep thinking that I need to sit down and re-watch all of LoM.
Partly because I feel like they cut something from the end on the BBCA version, but mostly because it's just awesome.
If I get my hair cut short(er), I'm taking in pictures of Annie's haircut.
I don't know that Ashes to Ashes can live up to LoM (especially as I'm more of a Sam girl than a Gene girl), but I'm looking forward to it, anyway.
I was at my mom's this week and she has HBO, so I got to see several episodes of In Treatment. Anyone watching it? It's an interesting concept--the show airs very night for 30 minutes, each night devoted to a different patient of the same psychiatrist, played by the still yummy Gabriel Byrne. He is very good, but the scripts felt a bit stilted to me. It was nice to see a whole show that is just about human beings talking, though.
