I happen to be very biteable, pal. I'm moist and delicious.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Maybe Sarah is both testing Neal, to see what he will do, and wooing him.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That's a terrible test. And a terrible way to woo Neal. That said, I think you could be right.

Really, I can't see why anyone would send Neal to that location, with that loot, without massively nefarious purposes.

Either it's a setup from Peter hoping that they'll kiss and makeup after some unknown thing, or Sarah is being a bad possible girlfriend, or Alex is being uncharacteristically generous, or Mozzie really misses his boy...

Yeah, none of them make sense. Luckily, White Collar is not the make sense show for me. I give it some leeway. Because it's pretty. And fun.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I was disappointed there was no Arc of the Covenant joke, though.

Well, actually: [link]

Because books.

That's excellent.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Arrghh, White Collar!

That LOOK Peter gives Neal at the end. And that Neal gives Peter. No matter what, their relationship is damaged, way worse than Sarah seeing Neal kiss Alex.

You've gotta think Neal knew what the key was to by the time he went there. He'd have to have seen his missing art by then. And also, who burns someone else's art to woo them?

But anyway, if he weren't at least thinking of going back to the con, he should never have gone to the address. Security cameras, people. He should have told Peter about it right away, and they could have gone together. So whether he was thinking about it before, he certainly was by that point.

Woe.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

You know what I like about this show, and hadn't realized until last night?

They know how to wrap up some damn mysteries before throwing more at you. (I'm looking at you Lost).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

No matter what, their relationship is damaged, way worse than Sarah seeing Neal kiss Alex.

Oh NO. I'm not watching until someone tells me it's all right. Cannot handle Peter/Neal damage. *whine*

It's a season finale. It won't be alright before the next episode.

Because books.

I think Mozzie still makes the most sense to me because I don't think he's ever going to entirely trust Peter and the FBI not to turn on Neal, or him, at some point. And I think I can see him blowing something up, if he doesn't have to be right there within scorching distance.

I was shocked that Peter jumped to the conclusion that Neal did it so quickly. But I was even more shocked by Neal's smile when he got in there, and I know I shouldn't have been.

I think the most I can believe is that now Neal is going to see it as bounty he didn't steal, and therefore doesn't have to give back in its entirety. As in fencing/keeping a few pieces for a sense of security: If this partnership blows up in my face, I have something to fall back on.
