P-C, I think you are exactly right. Walt didn't quit when his cancer went away and he has enough money. But he is willing to sacrifice everything -his wife, his daughter, his future-because for the first time in his life, he is really good at something and that makes him feel powerful and whole.
I love how he gets in deeper and deeper and just can't walk away. Or won't. I think you see people do this a lot wrt sex. Boring unfulfilled life and then someone comes along and they give up everything to be with that person. But I like watching a story where it is about something else.
Finally getting caught up with Justified (I'm one ep behind at this point). Damn. Boyd is kinda breaking my heart. He's trying so hard not to be the bad guy (he's not even trying to be the good guy), and the tension is killing him. Some of the decency seems innate, though. When he thought he'd killed the asshole he dragged with his truck, he seemed ready to go out and face the consequences until the guy got up on his own. I fear he's going to go back to doing bad things just because it's less stressful.
Frank, ITA! I never thought I'd be saying that I feel sorry for the guy.
Anybody check out Breakout Kings on A&E last night? I liked it, I'll give it another shot
really?
interesting. I've been waiting to hear about it before I try it.
It had an interesting twist at the end. So far, the characters seem decently developed. and, let's be honest, the lead marshal is HAWT. There may be some annoying side story with their admin, though.
I just realised I watched it. And I don't remember anything except wondering where the startlingly pretty murderer was. Oh, and the twist at the end. I definitely did not see that coming.
Yes, the murderer was pretty too. I also am jonesing for the lead marshal who looks oh so nice in a tight USMS tshirt. But, my cop kink is well established, and given my history with the Marshal Service, no real surprise that I'm into it.
Spoilertv has a 4 minute trailer for the new AMC show
The Killing.
(And I checked imdb: Liam James who played the young Shawn Spencer is in
The Killing
.)
You know what you should do, Peter? Stand there with your arm around Neal's shoulder for no apparent reason.
Why do you people keep touching each other?
