What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's been really rough so far, sumi. But I think if I just keep applying myself I can make it through.

Art Crawl!!!

Hope you're surviving that onerous task.

ION, a video interview with Matthew Bomer and Tim DeKay. Non-spoilery because everything they talk about we've already seen.

Sorry about the mixup.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, Justified. Love the new folks. But mostly: Oh, Raylan.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Wait, what was the original book?

[link]

I get asked every week by Justified fans new to Elmore’s work which books has Raylan appeared in. The answer is three. Two novels: Pronto (1993) and Riding the Rap (1995) and one novella, Fire in the Hole (upon which Justified is based,) in the story collection, When the Women Come Out to Dance (2002).

I'm reading Pronto and so far it's been loosely the story of the episode with the "dentist". Raylan and Winona's backstory is slightly different. But it's Raylan when he talks.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I did not know Justified was based on a work by Elmore Leonard. I love his books. I should track those down.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, man, I love the actress who plays Mrs. Bennett. She was also wonderful in the last segment of Paris, Je T'Aime.

YAY JUSTIFIED.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The pilot is based on Fire in the Hole, except after the fact they decided not to kill off Boyd, which is what happens in the story and how they had actually shot the pilot. And thank goodness for that!
