Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

DJ--I was blown away by him in that episode. Just great acting. I also love Celia Weston in it. She's the main character's mom, yeah, but she also has her own life and her own agenda and she feels nice and real to me.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I love her in pretty much everything.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I took a second look at Memphis Beat and have been increasingly satisfied with it as it sort of settled into its stride. They seem to have found that atmosphere and attitude that reps "Memphis" onscreen, and either I'm acclimating or they've found their stride with pacing. The one consistent thing I love about the show is that not everybody is beautiful. There are a lot of ordinary-looking people, and some downright funny-looking ones who are supporting and guest cast, and they're kept around long enough for a viewer to get to know them and be interested and invested enough in them to not care or notice anymore how un-conventionally-pretty they are. It's lovely.

Woodard has always been a hero of mine, Lee is surprisingly subtle, Benrubin is used in the exact right amount, Weston is a jewel. I especially liked the guest casting of an Asian actor in the most recent ep where, even in Memphis, explanations were deemed unnecessary.

Trust my rage

I can't believe no one has mentioned the CI-off and the "falling in love with your CI" conversation on WC. There was another awesome moment, maybe with El? I forget now.

I haven't seen it yet because hulu is being a little bitch and refusing to believe that I do have the latest version of flash and my cache has been cleared.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was freaking out in Natter, since I hadn't watched last week's Mad Men yet...

So glad El is back! I love El and Moz, among other things.

This was one of those "it's not slash anymore; it's subtext" episodes. Love!
