Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That was such a great moment!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Love's "Signed D.C." was recorded in 1966 in LA.

THAT'S what that song was! I couldn't place it over all the other noise. Yeah, what an odd mistake for the show to make.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. A bunch of people seem to be very convinced that the female antagonist in this week's Leverage was a Sarah Palin analogue. Despite her, you know, being both intelligent and intelligible. And John denying it.

It's not like he'd beat around the bush about it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You mean the one who had sex?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, everyone at TWoP was calling her Palinesque, and I was confused because I didn't get that at all. Why, because she was a woman in politics who had an accent? I really can't see any other similarities.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, and I didn't get that at all.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Her wardrobe was sort of Palin-y

Was it un-Rodham-Clintony? I mean, how many different ways can a female politician dress?

To my eye, she looked Palin-y the same way all the Republican women currently campaigning look Palin-y.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think there was a nod to Palin when her character was introduced. Yes, I think then the character departed from the real person, but I definitely think the first few words, etc. were not an accident.
