I'd waaaay rather no accent on him than attempting the 9th accent I remember. (I'm not a huge fan of that actor). Even so, accents vary so much down there, even from neighborhood to neighborhood.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I enjoyed K-ville more than I thought I would, possibly due to being informed that it was THE WORST TV SHOW EVER. I also let myself be spoiled for the reveal about Cole Hauser's character (he's the only reason I tuned in to begin with), which made the ep so much more fun as I got to see all the tells with his character that Things Aren't What They Seem.

I'm not a fan at all of the guy who plays Boulet, so I don't know if I'm not digging his character because of all the annoying parts he played in those annoying comedies (or wherever the heck it is that I saw him before).

Tawny Cypress was a nice surprise. I wouldn't mess with her character.

Did I mention Cole Hauser? I've been strangely obsessed with him since Pitch Black.

So if they keep the violence up and the lipgloss down, this could be a keeper for me.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yeah, Anthony Anderson is battling a lot of baggage from stupid comedies but it's like Samuel Jackson says "I do Snakes on a Plane so I can do Pulp Fiction". I saw him playing a drug lord on The Wire, so I was intrigued by that.

I think Tawny Cypress will turn out to be made of awesome. The way she told Boulet his friend was dead? I think there's some hard nosed story in there.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

She looked tough enough to be a cop, at least. Lots of times they don't.

The story that wasn't about the Ninth ward was Every Cop Show Ever. (The jerky cameras and regional details reminded me of Homicide of course.)I like the cop and his family, but I was kinda episode One bored by this installment. I'll watch it again, though, if Fox will let me(Cop shows take a while to build an audience, unless Reverend Wildmon protests again. Somebody get naked and say "goddamn" and trigger a boycott.)

I meant it, just not twice. Anthony Anderson was very good.

I'll give him a chance. I think I may have the same trouble others are having-having seen him in other things. I am happy that they're filming in NO. I think I'm like most people from there, we don't want you to think things are so bad you shouldn't visit or live there, but we also don't want you to think we don't still need help.

I hope you guys get your "Wire" eventually.(In terms of the money, and putting your problems on the map. Not the part where the city fathers whine about their images.)
