MI-5 is a great example of a show that's priced its dvds so high that I eventually stopped wanting them, and the show itself pretty much dropped off my radar as well.

Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
Lack of accents didn't bother me. I've heard as thick as my grandaddy's to as generic southern as me and K. There're only a few words that will trip me up, most famously amongst my friends "quarter" and "yesterday"
If you have a region free DVD player, it's actually cheaper to order them from the UK. Even with the dollar being 2:1 to the pound.
Well, I shall netflix them since who knows when BBCA will get up to season 5.

You're certainly a better judge than I am about New Orleans, so I'll try to let that prejudice go. I don't know why I'd focus on the accent with ex-con guy, when so many other things about his story made no sense unless this show is set a couple of years in the future.
Well, what about the non-accent of Boulet?
I'd waaaay rather no accent on him than attempting the 9th accent I remember. (I'm not a huge fan of that actor). Even so, accents vary so much down there, even from neighborhood to neighborhood.
I enjoyed K-ville more than I thought I would, possibly due to being informed that it was THE WORST TV SHOW EVER. I also let myself be spoiled for the reveal about Cole Hauser's character (he's the only reason I tuned in to begin with), which made the ep so much more fun as I got to see all the tells with his character that Things Aren't What They Seem.
I'm not a fan at all of the guy who plays Boulet, so I don't know if I'm not digging his character because of all the annoying parts he played in those annoying comedies (or wherever the heck it is that I saw him before).
Tawny Cypress was a nice surprise. I wouldn't mess with her character.
Did I mention Cole Hauser? I've been strangely obsessed with him since Pitch Black.
So if they keep the violence up and the lipgloss down, this could be a keeper for me.
Yeah, Anthony Anderson is battling a lot of baggage from stupid comedies but it's like Samuel Jackson says "I do Snakes on a Plane so I can do Pulp Fiction". I saw him playing a drug lord on The Wire, so I was intrigued by that.
I think Tawny Cypress will turn out to be made of awesome. The way she told Boulet his friend was dead? I think there's some hard nosed story in there.
