I am the fly who dreams of the spider

God, I love the criminals/persons-of-interest on Justified. After the yucky teaser, I was immediately on board with the Pike love, as well as loving his silly girlfriend. And now the reason for the constant reminder of Raylan's shooting of Buck bears out, cool. Never thought we'd see Pike.

I LOVE JUSTIFIED SO MUCH!!!!

Sorry about the asscaps, but I rewatched the 2nd & 3rd episodes at my brother's over the weekend and loved them more on re-watch. This just gets me exactly where I live for this kind of show.

How much do I love that I fell in love with the one mafia guy and his awesome death?

Seriously, what other show clearly says "bad guy" for the bad guys, but makes you feel bad when they die? I don't know, maybe that's the wrong question to ask, since I don't watch every show out there, but this seems so unique in making the adversaries bad without resorting to making them unrepentantly evil, kick the dog, shoot the horse for spite, rape the women and sell the children into slavery evil in order to make their point and make the good guys extra good for putting them down.

I love that the angry black man is from the Mod Squad.

::whimpers::

See?! SEE?!!

Seeing Rolly die was awful. Here's a person, and I can see all the decisions that got him to this point in his life, and all the situations that sprung from and influenced those decisions. He's a guy. He could be me. It's fucking sad.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Seriously, what other show clearly says "bad guy" for the bad guys, but makes you feel bad when they die?

That's what gets it for me. Their bad guys could be people I know or have known or are related to me.

Seeing Rolly die was awful.

So agreed. That was not the outcome I was hoping for. I was really hoping witprotec was going the be the result so he might be a recurring character (much like how I hope the bookie from last episode turns up again). I suspect he knew the knife wound was pretty bad, though, which is why he just said enough. Damn.

Also, I like how in most situations, Raylan is decidedly NOT a shoot first and ask questions later kind of guy, despite the fact that he seriously shoots to kill. He gives more than fair warning, and woe betides them that underestimate him.
