Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
a couple of people have brought up the intriguing idea that Roger realized that Don had set him up.
My take was that it crossed Roger's mind, but he was too drunk and sick to decide for certain.
I don't think that it's so much that he thinks that Don set him up, that Don's enjoying his discomfort.
Huh. I didn't think he pinged at all. But maybe they're right. I mean, certainly Roger would be on his guard with Don a little bit. He knows he was in the wrong, he came and tried to apologize to him.
I just rewatched and I'm not sure what I saw. Mostly that Don bested him -- not necessarily that he set him up.
I was amused to notice that Gil Garcetti (as in the LA DA during the OJ trial) is a consulting producer on The Closer.
Oh! That's who that is. I kept mixing him up with the guy from Buck Rogers.
Hee.
Meanwhile, enjoyable change in format tonight. Although, I don't think I'd want every week to be based around a trial.
Oh! That's who that is. I kept mixing him up with the guy from Buck Rogers.
Ah, yes, Gil Gerard. Did he ever do anything again?
eta: Huh, he's got a TV movie coming out this year, Bone Eater Sounds like porn to me.
It is a nice change of pace to see it from the trial--and I agree, I'd rather keep it in the field, usually. But it's interesting to see things from a different perspective--especially because the trial usually shows up on Law and Order, not The Closer!
Who thinks Schaefer did it?
