Now hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. I expect us to accelerate.

To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Champagne brunch:

I love how Peter's always a step ahead of Neal. It really makes the show for me. It keeps Neal from being too unicorn-perfect.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Damn - it's Wednesday. I'm missing Leverage something fierce.

JR did finally get around to blogging an episode, though. Plus, a nifty picture of Parker (possibly spoilery).

Trust my rage

I love how Peter's always a step ahead of Neal. It really makes the show for me. It keeps Neal from being too unicorn-perfect.

In my world, this is why Neal loves Peter. He's met his equal/inverse. Which is one of the reasons I really dislike (the idea, since we never really knew her) of Kate. What did she add to Neal, exactly? She was just his idea of normalcy, I think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kate was treading criminal waters a little, I think.

I still like to think of her as evil. For now evil and dead, evil and faking her death--either way.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, since Peter turned out not evil for the moment I`m going with Kate as evil (and also totally possibly not dead). I realize my desire for this may be ever so slightly tainted by the theirloveissopure I have going on about Peter and Neal. But still.

Also, I totally think that reupping lj for the sole sake of White Collar icons is a viable choice. Although I`d recommend dreamwidth instead. But yeah, I need an icon rework. For this show I`m thinking I need "What about us?" And some hat shot. And maybe something Moz `cause Moz is so great.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I like my icons to be something I can use outside of show context. So I was thinking I couldn`t use the porny sculpting shots. But then I realized, all I have to do is put the word "gratuitous" on the icon and then I can use it! For other things that are gratuitous. Of which I predict there will suddenly be a lot.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So now I'm caught up (cablefree person is on Hulu delay), and holy crap, that was slashier than Two Axes.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wait... doesn't slash imply non-canon??? ;)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

At this point, if it`s not canon I dunno what it is. There was weeping, y`all. And choked calling out of names.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

So (now that I've seen it), how does the rest of the world read this relationship? I know I have the slash goggles, and those of you who don't are at least aware of the slash goggles, but my god. How else do you read this episode? Really really intense friendship with tears?

Also, I love Peter and Elizabeth's marriage. We can just slot Neal right in the middle there...
