I know! The slash! I swear they wrote this episode thinking about what would make good icons. "What about us?"
There`s lots of good angst to come out of this.
"You kept me from my lost love! But you saved my life! But I should have died with my lost love! But I really loved you and I want to live forever with you in a world filled with rainbows and art and wine."
And statue! Yeah, little sparkly hearts. In glitter pen.
Enough white fonting! Celebrate naked!
Hee! Okay! Naked sculpting! He was! Naked! Sculpting!
When does this rerun again?
Celebrate naked!
Neal was gorgeously nekkid while sculpting another naked dude. Hell, even the sculpting was massively homoerotic. Though I kinda feel bad for the sculpture because clearly Neal and Peter are OTP.
The naked sculpting was excellent - I will say that Neal is the only person in the world who could sculpt naked and yet NOT have any clay on himself.
I think that they left wiggle room for Kate to come back OR for Neal to believe that she somehow escaped and for others to play on that belief.
Hi. The nakey sculpting was indeed lovely. But can I just put in a little sigh for my own special brand of porn? I want Neal's apartment! The bookshelves! With the tiny baby bookshelf lamps! The funky lamp with the red damaged shade on the stool serving as an end table by the couch! Fireplace! Stove-on-legs! Artwork! Picture lights! Skylights! (Say it with me) Bal.con.y! I shouda been a set dresser/designer.
Yeah, his apartment rocks. Plus, he has the excellent landlady.
Lancing was ten times as awesome in this one episode as Cruz was in the whole rest of the season. I'm going to give her credit for inching up her arms to expose her weapon to Burke, plus she had a backup.
I loved the end of the episode.
Peter: She's bad for you.
June: I love you.
Moz: Don't leave me.
El: You love the idea of her, not her.
Neal: Only you can stop me, Peter.
Peter: Stop.
Neal: Peter...
I choose not to find that final "Peter" ambiguous. The man was in tears.
I was sort of proud of Peter for putting it out there. So often, esp. on TV, people never actually say how they feel. And the tears!
One of the things I like about this show is that Peter is not dumb. He might not be suave like Neal but he's very smart. I was watching the first few episodes a few days ago (I had started in the middle) and I was impressed with the change in dynamic. They were not peers/partners when they started. I think that was good for Neal because he was arrogant. But being with Peter has changed him, and vice versa.
