"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

From a purely business perspective, why isn't Pete going out to Fishers Island on the weekend? They made a point of saying that was where his family summered. For Bethlehem Steel alone, it would make sense.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I do think Pete's in Beat Ken Cosgrove At All Costs mode... and also there's been some friction with Trudy's parents.

That's what I mean, why doesn't he insist they go to Fishers Island, instead of whereever her parents go? He's an account guy, he should be hobnobbing with his clients.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If Trudy's parents are paying the rent, still (I forget how all that worked out), making the decision of where to be summering may be more complicated.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think it's even worse than that - they're paying the mortgage.

That does sound right.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is anyone watching Sons of Anarchy this season? It is so brutal, that I'm not sure I can stick with it.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Yes, and agreed. Although I was disappointed when Gemma didn't take the shot after all.

I can't see any way it can end well. Actually, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to not end well. But I also can't imagine what would make for even a satisfying ending, given the setup.

dcp, I was disappointed too. It that world there was no reason for her not to take the shot.

I also agree that I can't see the season ending well. Actually between what happened to Donna and everything happening with Gemma, I can't really see the season ending without Clay getting seriously hurt or dead.
